Our land...

I believe that take care of the environmentally is a awareness, these practices maybe begins at home or should begin at school, but more that is a matter of taking charge of their own actions.
In my house in Uruguay for years my family separated the organic and inorganic garbage, but here in Santiago this is difficult because we haven’t garden, however we try to separate the plastic to create “ecoladrillos” and store the milk cartons.
I prefer walking or using a bike instead of using a vehicle (I don´t have any vehicle) but if I had one, I probably consider the use of another fuel alternative, like bio-diesel fuel or another ecological alternative. I strongly believe that if each one of us making a little change to reduce our carbon footprint, it will help to contribute to make a difference, in adittion, to make a better planet.
I haven’t participated in eco organizations, though I try to make a difference where I can. For now, my idea is this year enters in some animal aid organization.
I think most of us have probably never regarded ourselves as being able to do something about our environment, because we think that is the terrain of governments or other people, not us.
Besides, in a population as big as Santiago’s, only by making some simple changes in our lifestyle choices, it can has a huge impact in our society.
We can begin with small things like recycling waste products at home, or look at our trasport choices to reduce the impact on the environment of the carbon emissions, but we still continue believing that we can’t do anything on our own.

The sound of life

The music I hear is mostly Uruguayan music. I love this music because the melodies and the lyrics represent parts of my essence. The music expresses a way of being and a stand in the way of life.
I always enjoy listening to music, when my mp3 was damaged almost died, the city fell silent. Maybe it was good, because I started listening to other “music” on the street.
Besides the music allowed me to meet nice people too, with whom I shared many pleasant evenings with drums and guitars.
I hear music in my house, but now that my mp3 back to life, all spaces are conductive to hear a good song.
I don’t think I have a Favourite Singer or group, vary depending on my mood and living situations. I like the “murgas”, they are parodies of the current situation. People sing and dress, are rehashing a year, creating the lyrics and the costumes. They are great fun at the same time thought provoking. My favorite murga is Agarrate Catalina.
I like music because I can imagine a thousand things possible, leads me to dream and believe. The music allows my mind to rest and my heart smile. The music accompanies me when I mourn yet comfort me.
The music serves to share, to know each other and to let the other know you, is so public and so intimate at once. The music is just wonderful.

UK plastic surgery statistics: breasts up, ears down

This new is about the plastic surgery in UK and in France, and provides the data to support the conclusions.
First, the reporter suggests that breast implants are in vogue. Refers over 70,000 women that in both countries are estimated to have the implants created by the Poly Implant Prothese, this is a company which was shut down last year. There was a series of demands, a situation that is complicated by the appearance of eight case of cancer in women who had received the implants.

Despite this, breast surgery remains the most common plastic surgery in woman as demonstrated by the statistics. Although "man boob" reduction surgery has become increasingly important, to the point of registration this demanded the greatest increase in relation to precious years. This is supported by the data, which confirm that, in the case of men, the surgery is mentioned that has increased in recent times.

In the case of women, the breast augmentation surgery is one that occupies the greatest number of transactions, followed by eyelid surgery and face/neck lift. This trend has been the past three years.

For men the most plastic surgery is related to Rinoplasty, followed by the Brest reduction and Blepharoplasty respectively.

Happiness :)

I haven’t clear what reality is happiness, but I think that is something you feel inside, is more that a sensation or frame of mind. For me the happiness is not necessarily great, for this I can be happy even when sad (my mom doesn’t understand that). For example, when I moved to Chile, I felt sad because I missed my family, my pets and my “life”, but also I felt happy because I was doing what I had chosen.
I´m happy almost always because I feel I have the choice how to live. I love to travel to Uruguay and in my country I happy just to listen to another talk or walk on the beach drinking “mate”.
I think the people can be happy in many different ways and I don’t know if other aren’t happy. But maybe the people forget to look for what makes him happy or maybe they think too much and not live, I don’t know….
In Santiago the people live to fast, hardly the eyes are crossed on the subway. Maybe that is the reason because the people aren’t happy.
In conclusion I think that happiness has more to do whit how we choose to live whit external circumstance, so I’m happy.
